Welcome! I'm going to try my hand a blogging things that I find encouraging in my daily life, Bible Studies and talks with God.
I am a new mom to a little boy, TJ, who is seven months old and a wife of one year to my awesome husband, Paul. We have gone through a lot in the past year; getting married, having a baby, being in the Navy, getting out of the Navy and financial, spiritual, emotional and physical problems. But one thing I've learned is that God is always, always faithful.
One thing I have learned about God is that He never does things in my own timing; but He loves to stretch me to the very last minute, then He shows me His awesome power and parts the waters of the "red sea."
Here is a scripture I found encouraging to me today:
Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.I am so thankful that God is always there for me. I want to search after God with all my heart, so I can find Him and His desires for me. I am so glad that when I am lowly, He lifts me up; when I am feeling sad, He will comfort me; when I am humble, He will lift me up! When I am searching after Him, He will fill me with His spirit. When I help those in need, He is merciful to me in return and when I set myself aside for purity, I will see Him!
